CICS skips calling DB2 signon, if it is a re-signon of the same primary authid.

CICS to call DB2 signon automatically if it is a re-signon of the same primary authid.
The RACFSYNC option where CICS has ENF listener is designed for ACEE refreshes to replace waiting for USRDELAY.
It was not designed for the DB2 case since this is handled by the DB2CONN SECURITY (REBUILD).
If they need an enhancement for this to be done automatically via the ENF mechanism, this would require an RFE.

This RFE is satisfied by apar PI48562 on CICS TS 5.1 and 5.2 and is part of the base product for CICS TS 5.3 which is available from December 11th 2015. The new functionality is activated by specifying RACFSYNC=RACFDB2SYNC in the SIT. It provides the functionality provided by RACFSYNC=YES plus the additional DB2 refresh capability. Existing DB2 threads using an affected userid will be forced to resignon at the next unit of work boundary.

Due to processing by IBM, this request was reassigned to have the following updated attributes:
Brand - Servers and Systems Software
    Product family - Transaction Processing
    Product - CICS Transaction Server

For recording keeping, the previous attributes were:
    Brand - WebSphere
    Product family - Transaction Processing
    Product - CICS Transaction Server

This is something we would like to address. Extending the influence of RACFSYNC to include the CICS-DB2 interface is something that would have to be done on a release boundary. The RFE is accepted and is a candidate ffor inclusion in a future CICS release.
