System actions for CICS EP system event

Customer have great interest on system event support to monitor their CICS system and want to use EP support to do some system actions such as 'take a system dump', 'write CICS log', 'issue CICS system command', etc. Currently, there is no such support and for system administrators they don't want to write applications to use customized adapter. Instead, if EP can do some system actions that will be more helpful for system administrator.
BOC is a big customer in China and till now this bank shows great interest on EP support and have possibility to make use of EP in their system. If this new feature can be added, that will be of great value.

    In CICS TS V5, system events have been deprecated in favour of policy system rules. All CICS V5 releases provide a system rule that allows a message to be issued or an ep custom event adapter to be driven when the number of tasks in the system passes a threashold. The thresholds that can be chosen are 50%, 60%, 70%, 80%, 90% or 100% of MXT.
    The requirement can be satsfied by using this policy system rule to emit an message. An entry to the system dump table for system dump code "MP3009" and they can get a system dump when a system rule triggers.The system dump table entry can specify the maximum number of dumps that can be taken for a dumpcode.
