Platform deactivation without deactivation of bundles

We have > 20 and soon > 50 applications on a platform.

At the moment it is not possible to deactivate a platform without deactivating the apps. This is very bad.

If we want to add a cics region in production on the fly to a platform region group this is not possible, also very bad.....

We need the ability:

1) Disable a platform without changing the application state

or

2) to change platform behavior on the fly like server.xml changes in liberty.

    Closing this RFE as have not heard back results of using existing PLATFORM.ADD/REMOVE region functionality. If still a problem, please raise a new RFE.

    As discussed at the CAF we will try this out as soon as possible (a testcase for PROD is already planed), document what and how we are doing this and refer back to you with the results.

    We already have PLATFORM.ADD/REMOVE region that allows a region to be added to a running platform. We also have PLATFORM.ADD/REMOVEBUNDLE that allows capability to be updated. Please see https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/en/SSGMCP_5.4.0/reference/cpsm-restables/PLATFORMtab.html
