EXEC CICS JOURNAL + EIBAID + EIBCPOSN

We need to be able to journal the EIBAID plus the EIBCPOSN fields to make a sufficient audit trail, without addressing CICS internal control blocks.
The best solution will be a new option to the existing DEFINE PROFILE MSGJOURNAL(INP) request to tell CICS to automatically journal the EIBAID and the EIBCPOSN.
The second best solution will be the possibility to reference updated EIB-fields at an early stage of a transation in an EXIT at taskstart, so that you can make an extra EXEC CICS JOURNAL request journalling the EIBAID and EIBCPOSN fields manually. This is not possible today, because the EIBAID and EIBCPOSN fields is empty at that stage, which means that you need to reference TCTTEAID and TCTTECAD.

    We have assessed this requirement. We have no current plans for this to be implemented and so this requirement is being declined at this point. The requirement will be kept in the RFE system and might be reassessed in the future. You also have an opportunity to resubmit in twelve months time if you wish it to be reconsidered then.

    Brand - Servers and Systems Software
    Product family - Transaction Processing
    Product - CICS Transaction Server

    For recording keeping, the previous attributes were:
