CICS Handling of bad HTTP requests

Hello IBM Support,

Security requirements use vulnerability scanners to 'ping' CICS, and these lead to false positives. A scanner may produce an error, that's not really an error...can CICS be enhanced to handle http errors better?

Thank you
John Carini

    John,
thank you for your RFE. Can you clarify the use case.
What type of requests are being issued by the scanner and what errors are causing a problem.
Can you clarify that you are referring just to the information returned to the client.
There are configurations to limit the data returned such as HTTPSERVERHDR and HTTPUSRAGENTHDR.
Security errors will return minimal information to the client to prevent scanning.
