Ability to limit access to systems resources when using the CPSM API

Following PMR
72808,003,756 we have encountered a bottleneck caused by CONL processing an EXEC CPSM request from an application.


When using CPSM API, the resources are accessed by the CONL transaction. Even with CONA configuration, after 5 CONA transactions are being used the requests will revert to CONL.

This is an issue because it allows an application programmer to consume system resources with 255 priority - without the ability to differentiate between system and application activity.

    We have assessed this requirement. We have no current plans for this to be implemented and so this requirement is being declined at this point. The requirement will be kept in the RFE system and might be reassessed in the future. You also have an opportunity to resubmit in twelve months time if you wish it to be reconsidered then.
