Receiving big files from a HTTP POST request into CICS in smaller chunks Merged

The customer wants to know if it would be possible to truncate that request (as we do when CICS pass the data to the customer programs) to receive the data in smaller chunks or to store it in a container (that we can put above the 2GB limit).

Due to processing by IBM, this request was reassigned to have the following updated attributes:
Brand - Servers and Systems Software
    Product family - Transaction Processing
    Product - CICS Transaction Server

For recording keeping, the previous attributes were:
    Brand - WebSphere
    Product family - Transaction Processing
    Product - CICS Transaction Server

This is a duplicate of RFE 24903 which is marked Delivered. This is addressed by CICS TS 5.1 which allows use of CONTAINERs on the web api.

This is not something we are looking at addressing in the short term, but is a candidate for inclusion in a future release.
