Allow CICS to share SSL Keyrings even if they run under different userIDs

Hi, Currently a CICS region can only use the SSL keyring that is owned by the region owner ID. We can't share same keyring between multiple regions if they run under different owner IDs. With the increase in number of CICS regions, its becoming tedious job to maintain 1000's of SSL certificates. We would want CICS to allow sharing keyrings that are not owned by it's owner ID. This will help us reduce the number of certs we need to maintain and renew every year. This saves 1000's of hours every year. Btw, sharing the keyring between tasks is already being used by ATTLS policies and supported by both RACF and ACF2 products. We would like CICS also allow this feature. Please refer to PMR case TS009922103 for more details.

CICS Development: This is something we would like to address. The Idea is being moved into 'Planned for Future release' status.

I was about to submit a request for the same and found this one. It will be of great help if we can share keyrings since with CPSM involved and multiple regions receiving web requests, maintaining CERTs in different KEYRINGs is becoming tedious process. Personally i would be happy if we can have a userid.KEYRING format acceptable in SIT.
