Cipher file name on com.ibm.cics.web.defaultcipherfile parm of Toggle file

Hi,


Witht he CICS TS61, i see new toggle file parm com.ibm.cics.web.defaultcipherfile={true|false}

This parm forces all the outbound calls to use the defaultciphers.xml. We already maintaining a custom cipher file for all inbouds as it is possible to use any xml name and update TCPIPService. But forcing to use defaultciphers.xml for all outbound is requiring us to maintain 2 seperate xml files for ciphers.


Is it possible to allow us to use our own xml file name for outbound also. something like this.


com.ibm.cics.web.defaultcipherfile={true|false|cipherfile.xml}


Where if the customer use True, CICS uses defaultciphers.xml. And also allows us to use custom file name what we would want.

    CICS Development: We have assessed this requirement. We have no current plans for this to be implemented and so this requirement is being declined at this point.

    One way to address this would be to use a symlink to alias one file to another.
