An option not to reset counts on USS stats records

In some of our regions we use DADS to open/close files in our regions. This can happen several times a day. Each time a file is closed a USS record is written to SMF and the count is reset to 0. Therefore, we have loads of USS records for files and some end of day stats. This makes analysing these records difficult. It would be nice to have an option not to reset after a USS record is written and only to reset on end of day record. Em.

CICS Development: We have assessed this requirement. We have no current plans for this to be implemented and so this requirement is being declined at this point.

The stats STUP utility uses SUMMARY keyword to to produce a summary report by adding the statistics values contained in the interval, requested reset, end-of-day, and unsolicited collections.
CICS PA and vendor products expect this way of resetting the values and their products work based on this.
