RELATED IDEAS

The ability for CICS to capture data and graph into Grafana/Promethius.

We would like a similar capability that MQ supplies via GitHub that provides capabilities to format display data and allows you to graph it via Grafana/Promethius.   This request would not be for a separate chargeable product but provided either in the product or for free via GitHub or  a SupportPac.  We are not interested in the bringing in another product or using IBM Z OMEGAMON for CICS. 

Internally, we have demoed using the CICS Explorer interface.  However, there is a significant effort to format the data for use in Grafana/Promethius.  An additional issue is the display commands available give us real time data about CICS and various resources within, but it does not give us transaction history data.  We would like some way to bridge the two source of data.

    CICS Development: Please provide more information, eg usercase details. What data are they wanting to capture and Graph ?
