TAGGING File Refresh using CEMT

In Current Scenario , After Implementing CICSTAG.yaml CICS tagging file , there is 2 option .

1- Recycle the CICS region

2- Login to CICS region and issue CECI SET TAGS REFRESH

In my firm we have 500+ CICS region running in one Lpar, and we will not get permission to recycle the CICS region/ipl the system.

and its really tough to login individually to issue CECI SET command to refresh tagging file as CECI is interactive and cannot be used via batch.

as CEMT SET command can be issued via batch , if you can add refresh command for Tagging files in CEMT will help us achieve our implementation easily without waiting for IPL of the system.

We dont use CMCI, however we use CICSPLEX, but only for WLM , what will be the best approach on this?

and if we can refresh through CMCI /CICS explorer i thinks its through SPI command internally, but why not through CEMT? becuase many shops will not use CMCI/CICS explorer

CICS Development: This idea is being rejected. Region tags along with many other newer resources are not accessible via CEMT. They can be managed operationally using the SPI or via the CMCI interface.

In this instance using CMCI would be preferable because a single command can be sent to many regions within the selected scope. This can be achieved using the CICS Explorer or could be scripted using an Ansible playbook. A sample Ansible playbook is available here (https://github.com/IBM/z_ansible_collections_samples/tree/main/zos_subsystems/cics/cmci/refresh_tags)
