Using CICS Policies to check if terminal connections have been acquired

Currently we use CPSM RTA extensively. We are going through a program of review and replacement, mainly with CICS Policies. However, CICS Policies do not check for Terminal Connection Acquired to CICS and so we cannot replace this yet. CICS Policies do check for similar connections so hopefully the effort in adding the extra function will not be too onerous. It has been discussed in various forums (e.g. CAF) that customers should raise these issues as a precursor to the CPSM RTA function being deprecated by IBM. During these discussions it was mooted that existing customer functionality would be replicated elsewhere if necessary. Hence this idea/request from us.

Hi, thanks for raising the Idea.

Could you please share an example RTA definition(s) you want to replace? An example will help us to focus on the specifics. Any other information related would be useful too.

    Thanks very much, Jenny
