Optimizing DASD Space on DFHAUX and DFHDMP files

Bradesco has a very large CICS environment (over 500 cics regions) and highlighted the large amount of disk space consumed by the datasets allocation for the DFHDMP and DFHAUXT files, which are not actually often used. He suggested the possibility of creating a common repository of these files for all CICS regions, for example, in logstreams, a CF structure or something similar

    another possibility could it be the usage of a dinamic allocation of these datasets (not fiexd o JCL).

    when necessary to gather the data we could allocate the file and fill the dataset name on the promt panel
