CICS Region AKP statistics

CICS regions collect statistics on the number of AKPs that have been taken, these counts are reset based on the statistics interval. Often the statistics interval may be quite small, maybe 15 minutes, thus this makes it more difficult to look at AKP history for CICS regions that have a typically low AKP (or logging rate). This Idea is requesting two improvements over what we have today. Firstly to keep a lifetime count of AKPs that have been taken since region startup and externalize this count as a new statistic and secondly keep a running total of log writes within an interval also externalizing this as a new statistic, this would enable one to observe how close the region was to taking an AKP during a statistics interval.   For reference I was using the CICS STAT transaction which has limited AKP detail, I would like to see this also enhanced with this new detail :
