Improvement in z/OS Connect plugin used in CICS Explorer.
Currently, the plugin shows us the list of aars & Sars and allows testing.

  1. Please include to show ara details.
  2. Enhance the view to show the the connectivity between aar, sar, ara, backend CICS region, transaction, program details, IPIC connection, URIMAP, Header details, Use count. 
  3. Also, add view to show inflight traffic.

    These details will save lot of time in understanding, configuring and debugging issues in z/OS Connect for CICS.

    Whilst the solution available in the product today is slightly different to the approach suggested in this IDEA, it does address
    2. "Enhance the view to show the the connectivity between aar, sar, ara, backend CICS region, transaction, program details, IPIC connection, URIMAP, Header details, Use count. " Whilst not specifically for the zosConnect -2.0 runtime feature, this is achievable with OpenTelemtry GA 3.0.96 : https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/zos-connect/3.0.0?topic=monitoring-opentelemetry
    3. "add view to show inflight traffic" This can ve achieved using Omegamon today: https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/om-jvm/6.1.0?topic=jvm-configuring-zos-connect-api-monitoring

    As such this IDEA is being closed as delivered. Please not that point 1 "include to show ara details" is not something that will be addressed.

    If you have any further requirements in addition to the capability that exists today, we would welcome another IDEA.
