Consistent SMF 110 Record generation for Long Running Transactions

In our shop, we have long running transactions (LRT) that are primarily or entirely threadsafe. We have MNFREQ set to 1 minute and don't get consistent SMF 110 record generation for the LRTs. This may be because the LRT was not on the QR TCB when the MNFREQ interval popped. MNSYNC also does not always help because some of the long running transactions do not issue syncpoints. This leaves us with difficulty in doing performance analysis on these transactions. Can we have a more consistent way to generate SMF 110 records regardless of the TCB the transaction is running on or whether or not the application issues syncpoints.
