Improve Diagnostics for in IPCONN Auto-Install capability

Background : We are in the process of evaluating and deploying the IPCONN Auto-install facility and have constructed a program in line with the published template albeit for z/OS Connect and not CTG.

Issue : During the evaluation / verification we stumbled across the issue where the auto-install program, in this case SPIPICAI had not been placed into a library DSN in the DFHRPL. In addition we employ the program auto-install facility - hence a program entry was created but of course with a length of zero.

Diagnostics : CISS/CISD issued the diagnostics shown below. These don't include any EIBRESP codes and also infer that the issue in or case is with SPIPICAI program - when of course its actually with the deployment of the program. "Error Code 3" adds abs no value at all.

Can we improve the diagnostics to issue / include EIBRESP codes and also if possible distinguish between those instances where the actual program defined in the URM has been invoked and when not.

    This is a candidate for a future release.

    We will look at improving the message text but the CICS documentation for DFHIS3002 (https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/cics-ts/6.x?topic=messages-dfhis3002) does provide a description for each error code. An error code of 3 indicates that the link to the autoinstall program failed because the program was not available.
