TRDUMPCODE Current count increase in size

For the TRDUMPCODE display, would like to increase the Current count from 4 digits to at least 6 digits. Although it seems like a excessive amount, we have had occasions of test CICS regions creating more than 100K transaction abends when triggered by MQ. If you set the maximum to 999 (unlimited), then a recursive dump situation will cause the count to go from 9999 to 0000 and take another 999 dumps. We have since dropped the maximum to < 999 so the transaction dumps will stop but from a problem determination standpoint would like to know the TOTAL number of dumps taken and with at least 6 digits, a better picture can be developed.

    We have assessed this requirement. We have no current plans for this to be implemented and so this requirement is being declined at this point. The requirement will be kept in the RFE system and might be reassessed in the future. You also have an opportunity to resubmit in twelve months time if you wish it to be reconsidered then.
