Suppress generating JSON tags for unused fields

The linkable DFHJSON support for language structures (DFHLS2JS) generates a JSON tag for every field, whether it has a value or not. We have copybook structures with hundreds of fields, many of which are not populated, yet DFHJSON generates a blank tag for each. I would like an option for DFHJSON to skip fields that are not populated so that the application is not required to make significant changes.

The following apars may address this issue. If not fully addressed please raise a new RFE.

Apar PI67641 on CICS TS 5.2 & 5.3 allows truncation of arrays during mark-up generation, once empty content is identified. This however only applies to arrays.
Apar PI74752 on CICS TS 5.2 & 5.3 allows toleration of invalid values in application supplied data

We have a series of JSON-LS copybooks that are for client CICS JSON calls. Each copybook contains descriptions for multiple services and we would like to only create a JSON message for the on Restful JSON service being called and not the whole copybook.

So either allow us to supress empty fields would be a perfect solution....

Or allow us to select a portion of the Copybook for the Container PUT using the Structure name that indicates the service, rather that the whole copybook used to generate the JSON Schema..

Any suggestions on either usage I'm happy to discuss.

Due to processing by IBM, this request was reassigned to have the following updated attributes:
Brand - Servers and Systems Software
    Product family - Transaction Processing
    Product - CICS Transaction Server

For recording keeping, the previous attributes were:
    Brand - WebSphere
    Product family - Transaction Processing
    Product - CICS Transaction Server

This is a candidate for inclusion in a future release.
