Improve CMAS EYUDREP space monitoring

Currently, when a CPSM CMAS's EYUDREP file runs out of space, the CMAS issues EYUXD0011E and tells the customer that no further updates will be processed, and the DREP must be enlarged.

Enlarging the EYUDREP file requires an outage of the CMAS. Further, the EYUDREP of all the CMASes managing a CICSplex will likely need to be enlarged at the same time.

What is needed are proactive messages that allows for more resilience here, giving customers advanced warning when the EYUDREP reaches a predetermined threshold of space utilization.

    Support is provided in CICS TS 6.2 which has been announced and will GA June 14th 2024. You are now alerted when the CICSPlex SM Data Repository EYUDREP exceeds 70% of its capacity so that you have time to review the space allocation for the data set to ensure that it has sufficient capacity for intended system operations. The owning CMAS issues message EYUXD1032 when EYUDREP exceeds 70% of its available extents in either of its DATA or INDEX components.

    This requirement has been re-assessed. It is not likely that this will be implemented in the next 12-24 months and so it is being declined at this point. The requirement will be kept in the RFE system and might be reassessed in the future. You also have an opportunity to resubmit in twelve months time if you wish it to be reconsidered then.
