Newcopy of Liberty Application in CICS

In CICS V5.3. it is possible to phasein a OSGI bundle

A Liberty application can't be phasein, that is proberly because the application need to be stopped and restarted to do the operation. It would be nice to have a newcopy function for this. because we need to be able to refresh the application. Today we do a disable/discard(wait 10 seconds) and a install to perform the wanted newcopy. It would be nice to have a more simple operation to refresh a liberty application.

We will prefer a phasein without any outage but we understand that the nature of a liberty application is not a matter for cics only it is a Websphere thing too. So maybe a newcopy action could be the way

    We have assessed this requirement. We have no current plans for this to be implemented and so this requirement is being declined at this point. The requirement will be kept in the RFE system and might be reassessed in the future. You also have an opportunity to resubmit in twelve months time if you wish it to be reconsidered then.

    The DFHDPLOY utility can be used to script the deployment and undeployment of a CICS bundle that has the same overall effect that newcopy has for CICS programs. This will minimise the time the application is unavailable.
