RELATED IDEAS

Amend CPSM API Install for FILEDEF to allow override values.

When installing a FILEDEF resource using the CPSM API there is currently no way to override values such as the filename either with a specific parameter or via a RASGNDEF. Whereas using the WUI and installing a FILEDEF an override value is allowed.
It is our belief that the two methodologies should be standarised.

    The OVERRIDE parameter on the FILDEF resource table is supported. The following API should be used:


    PERFORM SET ACTION(INSTALL)
            PARM(TARGET(cics_system_name) USAGE(LOCAL) OVERRIDE("ADD=YES.") OVERTYPE(TARGET). )
