Support for DB2Entries in CICS Bundles

We are able to create Transactions in our cics bundle but because we always create a db2entry together with the transcation we can't really use cics bundles to define our application because we can't create db2entries in the cics bundle

Whilst this requirement is valid, based on our current plans and priorities, it is not likely that this could be implemented in the next 12 months, or in the next CICS TS release. Correspondingly this requirement is being declined at this point. The requirement will be kept in the RFE system and might be reassessed in the future. You also have an opportunity to resubmit in twelve months time if you wish it to be reconsidered then.

We are using 1 plan for each trans because then the DB2 Guys can follow up on the db2 part and relate it to a tran.

Why are you using a DB2ENTRY definition for every transaction? This is really inefficient. The starting position should be that everything runs in the pool.

Does each DB2ENTRY have its own plan, or do you use a small number of plans with packages bound into them? The PACKAGESET resource can be defined in an bundle, typically in an application binding and allows specification of which DB2 packageset is to be used within a plan
