Client connectivity into CICS UMDTs and TSQs

We use UMDTs (Data tables) and TSQs in CICS as data stores. However, these can only be accessed by a program running in CICS.

We requests that non-mainframe applications can access these data stores (UMDTs and TSQs) without requiring an application code in CICS. This is similar to a non-mainframe application able to access DB2 using jdbc Type-4.

    We have assessed this requirement. We have no current plans for this to be implemented and so this requirement is being declined at this point. The requirement will be kept in the RFE system and might be reassessed in the future. You also have an opportunity to resubmit in twelve months time if you wish it to be reconsidered then.
