Improve Sysplex Distributer / DVIPA routing for CICSplex

Today, a TCP/IP connection request comes to a specific DVIPA definition in TCP/IP and is essentially routed “round robin” across eligible LPARs and CICS regions.

We want CPSM to influence which CICS region / LPAR is assigned to new DVIPA connection requests, in order to favor healthy CICS regions and LPARs for new requests.

    Are you aware of the new WLMHEALTH support available in CICS TS 5.4 ? CICS utililises the z/OS WLM IWM4HLTH api during startup and shutdown to set the health of the region. This will influence where sysplex distibutor routes work. It will also influence where CPSM routes work.
