    This RFE is satisfied by CICS TS 5.3 which is generally available from December 11th 2015.

    CICS provides support for use of the JMS api to access IBM MQ for z/OS.
    Support from MQ is provided in IBM MQ for z/OS version 7.1 and version 8.
    • Version 7.1 apply fixpack 7.1.0.7 or any later fixpack level
    • Version 8 apply base APAR PI28482 and fixpack 8.0.0.4 or any later fixpack level

    This RFE is satisfied by CICS TS 5.3 which was announced on October 5th 2015 with a planned general availability date of December 11th 2015.

    Support for JMS in an OSGI JVMSERVER is provided in CICS TS 5.2 by applying apar PI32151. Support is also available in CICS TS 5.3 Open Beta.
    Support from WebSphere MQ is provided in WebSphere MQ for z/OS® version 7.1 and version 8.
    • Version 7.1 apply MQ APAR PI29770 (built on fixpack 7.1.0.6) or any later fixpack level
    • Version 8 apply base APAR PI28482 and fixpack 8.0.0.2 or any later fixpack level

    Providing JMS support in CICS is a well understood requirement and a candidate for inclusion in a future release.
