Link to Liberty CDI Bean Support

We are just implementing an Mail send Routine in CICS Liberty, which should be called from PL/1 and Batch (with EXCI+Container). So fare so good. As the developer now deployed his liberty application it was very curious to see, that the CDI Beans have not instanciated.

Most of our java developers use CDI Beans in their Business logic, so we can not reuse what we already have and this is not good.

Please add CDI Support in Link-to-Liberty, if the CDI feature is added to the server.xml

    Support for this is provided in CICS TS 6.1 which is generally available from 17th June 2022.

    Support for this is provided in CICS TS 6.1 which is announced today April 5th and will GA June 17th 2022.

    This RFE has been re-opened, as its something we plan to address. The RFE is being moved into 'Planned for Future release' status. Please note:

    Whilst this requirement is valid, based on our current plans and priorities, it is not likely that this could be implemented in the next 12 months, or in the next CICS TS release. Correspondingly this requirement is being declined at this point. The requirement will be kept in the RFE system and might be reassessed in the future. You also have an opportunity to resubmit in twelve months time if you wish it to be reconsidered then.
