Java/Cobol-Integration in Liberty JSR352 (Batch) within CICS 5.4

We are planing to use Liberty in CICS as our platform for JSR352 batch applications. Plan is to smoothly migrate current Cobol batch jobs to Java. Not all Cobol modules can be migrated at once, so it must be possible to call Cobol modules from a Java JSR 352 batch application within the same UOW.

Important:
- Uncommited data inserted from Cobol must be readable by Java and vice versa.
- No XA transactions, we try do avoid 2PC scenarios.
- We want to use Type 2 database connections.

This RFE is satisfied by applying PH07233 to CICS TS 5.4 The JCICS Task class has been changed to ignore a Task.commit or Task.rollback when within a JTA transaction. As a result the restriction that DB2 JDBC type 2 connectivity is not supported for batch persistence with JSR 352 is removed.

This change is in the base of CICS TS 5.5 and higher.
