Support of SHA-256 hashing algorithm by CICS TS SSL

CICS TS up to, and including, Version 5.1 supports only the SHA-1 hashing algorithm. Our company needs to increase the security level of the digital certificates it uses for SSL connections (i.e. longer RSA key length and SHA-256 instead of SHA-1).
As such, we need that the support of SHA-256 be added to CICS as soon as possible. As our current CTS level is V4.1, we would like this enhancement be available for that level (and upper). The cipher suite which lacks in our particular case is TLS_RSA_WITH_AES_256_CBC_SHA256 (Id 0x3D).

    The requirement is also satisfied by CICS TS 5.2 which was announced 7th April 2014 with a planned general availability date of June 13th 2014. For more information see the IBM CICS Transaction Server for  z/OS, V5.2 announcement letter
