RELATED IDEAS

DFHEISUP delivered with RMODE24 and is 7MB in size

Load module DFHEISUP is supplied by CICS with AMODE31, RMODE24.
The load module itself takes up 7M below the line storage. This
can create problems for sites who are constrained in their below
the line storage.

    Support for this is provided in CICS TS 6.1 which is generally available from 17th June 2022.

    DFHEISUP is changed to be RMODE(ANY). Support for this is provided in CICS TS 6.1 which is announced today April 5th and will GA June 17th 2022.

    This requirement has been re-evaluated. We have no current plans for this to be implemented and so this requirement is being declined at this point. The requirement will be kept in the RFE system and might be reassessed in the future. You also have an opportunity to resubmit in twelve months time if you wish it to be reconsidered then.
