Enhance CPSM's LNMI tran to handle CMAS shutdown without abending

If a CMAS is shut down while it is updating a partner CMAS (CMAS-to-CMAS link), one of the CMASes will output "Transaction LNMI running program EYU9XLOP term XYZ has failed with abend ASP2." CPSM should be enhanced to handle this disconnection gracefully rather than abend.

Please note that the CMAS was NOT cancelled during in this scenario. One CMAS was a normally shut down at about the same time another CMAS on a different LPAR was coming up.

We have assessed this requirement and think the problem is caused by the cancelling of the the CMAS and thereby the COSD shutdown procedures have been bypassed. There are no plans to make enhancemnts in this area so correspondingly this requirement is being declined at this point. The requirement will be kept in the RFE system and might be reassessed in the future. You also have an opportunity to resubmit in twelve months time if you wish it to be reconsidered then
