Using CICS DFHWBPW for normal password change

Our idea is to use CICS password change program DFHWBWB, which is normaly triggered when the passwort expires, also for the normal password change process.
We tried it and it works in principle, when using any URL like http://serverurl/DFHWBPW.

What bothers me is the default message
( message.1 in CICS doctemplate DFHWBPW1) "password expired", is displayed after the first http request in the messagearea, even when the password hasn't actually expired.

We would like to have an ehancement in DFHWBPW, so that at an inital direct http request to /DFHWBPW no message ( maybe index message.0 with value " ") is displayed.

This requirement has been re-assessed. It is not likely that this will be implemented in the near future and so it is being declined at this point. The requirement will be kept in the RFE system and might be reassessed in the future. You also have an opportunity to resubmit in twelve months time if you wish it to be reconsidered then.
