This portal is to open public enhancement requests against IBM Z Software products. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

Closing this RFE as the customer solved his problem as suggested by sharing the project rather than the workspace.
Hi,
i think that the article you reported can be useful also for other users.
Meanwhile I solved my problem with creation of 2 shared folders. In the first one I have saved the file that contains the connection to the CICS regions.
In the second I have saved the projects of Business Events.
Then I imported the Events projects in the workspace without selecting the option "copy project into workspace".
I notice that when a user makes change on the project this change is reported to other users.
Best regards.

For events which are held in workspace projects, rather than sharing the workspace, the preferred solution is to share the projects themselves. This is achieved by using a source code management tool, such as CVS, or SVN, or Rational Team Concert. We don't provide specific help on how to do this, although there are good articles on the web for how to share project and have a "check-in" and "check-out" approach to the projects, similar to how source code is authored and shared between developers - the one here http://help.eclipse.org/juno/index.jsp?topic=%2Forg.eclipse.platform.doc.user%2FgettingStarted%2Fqs-60_team.htm talks you through how to share projects using a CVS repository. I have thought that it would make a good article/blog entry to talk specifically about how to use the CICS Explorer and sharing projects between users and focus on events - do you think this would be something useful for us to publish ?
