Cics Explorer Virtual Reality Support - Operators View

At the moment there is only omegamon to visualise running transactions in cics and to see the cics environment (CICSPLEX) this is very difficult to do it in a simple way, because there is too much information in it and you need to be a specialist on the system.

zospt makes this situation even more worse, as now regions coming up and going down every time.

An operator is not longer able to realise what is going on in the system. It is a little bit better for a system programer but also worse for him.

... and thaught this could be a great extension and a good way to deal with this situation.

If not with VR, we definitely need a good interface for runtime monitoring of the systems, because the situation, that you shift all runtime execution relevant things to omegamon is not the best.... I will tell you why at the CAF.

    We have assessed this requirement. We have no current plans for this to be implemented.

    Sorry I forgot two things:

    1) another reason why I would like this stuff is: "make the mainframe sexy again"....
    2) Of course it would be great the have all this stuff in zos explorer and zosmf, because then you would have a more global view on things, but maybe cics ist the best point to start
