Threadsafe for Function shipping over MRO

This requirement is raised on behalf of CEB. CEB is under threadsafe change and find out that there are too many TCB switches in a transaction as Function shipping over MRO API are non-threadsafe. So they need function shipping API are threadsafe over MRO.

    Whilst this requirement is valid, based on our current plans and priorities, it is not likely that this could be implemented in the next 12 months, or in the next CICS TS release. Correspondingly this requirement is being declined at this point. The requirement will be kept in the RFE system and might be reassessed in the future. You also have an opportunity to resubmit in twelve months time if you wish it to be reconsidered then.

    My client PAB(Ping An Bank) deployed their credit card system in mainframe with CICS + VSAM in the standaone machine with 5 CPUs configuration(totally about 3000 MIPS), there are multiple AORs deployed and only one FOR connected using MRO protocol to provide the VSAM file access.

    we are engaging the CICS upgrade opportunity from v3.2 to v5.3 to assess the benefit brought to client with the big investment. Due to CSMI transaction can not expoit open TCB under MRO connection protocol, as the business growth fast, PAB might hit the potential bottle net of QR-TCB in FOR. there are also many TCB switches occured in AOR after threadsafe transformation done. our client is eager to see the functional enhancement in coming new release of CICS
