CICS Policies message destination

Messages generated by CICS Policies are directed to MSGUSR via transient data destination CSSL. Our automated operations product cannot access and process messages in MSGUSR directly.

It would be more beneficial for CICS Policy messages to be directed to JESMSGLG which our automated operations tools can access directly.

    The desired functionality can be achieved by using an exit program enabled at theXMEOUT exit point to redirect DFHMP3001 to JESMSGLG. Additionally there are automation products that can react to messages sent to MSGUSR

    We have assessed this requirement. We have no current plans for this to be implemented and so this requirement is being declined at this point. The requirement will be kept in the RFE system and might be reassessed in the future. You also have an opportunity to resubmit in twelve months time if you wish it to be reconsidered then.
