Enhancement to DFHLS2WS

There is an option for DFHLS2WS (java routine) being WSDLCP. With this option you can specifiy the code page that is used to generate the WSDL document. It is possible to specify EBCDIC-CP-US, UTF-8 and LOCAL. Hond Belgium want to have the possibilty to specify the Belgian code page. More general, it would be good to have the possibility to specify any code page.

    This requirement has been re-evaluated. Looking at current plans, it is not likely that this would be implemented in the next two CICS TS releases, so correspondingly this requirement is being rejected. You have an opportunity to resubmit in twelve months time if you wish it to be considered then.

    Due to processing by IBM, this request was reassigned to have the following updated attributes:
    Brand - Servers and Systems Software
    Product family - Transaction Processing
    Product - CICS Transaction Server

    For recording keeping, the previous attributes were:

    The requirement lacks a business justification to explain why the UTF-8 reference encoding is insufficient, and the associated PMR only states "We don't want to..." with no further commentary. There may be a strong argument in favour of this requirement, but at the moment it looks low priority. Aside from anything else, it would be relatively simple to write a script to convert the WSDL from one of the reference encodings into whatever encoding is desired. Please clarify whether a script based workaround would be sufficient.
