160x62 large session TN3270E TCP/IP support

Hi,

(This RFE is in relation to TS005782734).

I am trying to replace our vtam /sna connections ( 160x62) in supersession with TCP/IP connections.

I'm following this section from the SuperSession basic configuration guide:

IBM CL/SuperSession 3.1 supports a basic connection to a target TELNET server over a TCP/IP network. It
allows connection from IBM CL/SuperSession to servers beyond the Sysplex or Enterprise Extender
boundaries to, for instance, a target z/VM stack or a z/OS IBM Telnet server to subsequently connect to
TSO or IBM CICS TS.

So far I have successfully connected using 24x80 TCP/IP sessions.

I was now trying to implement 160x62 sessions by specifying a logmode(D4A32XX3), however this results in supersession overriding the mode and changing it to 24x80.

Please can support be added to enable TN3270E support (160x62 sessions) over tcpip?

    Updating the status of the RFE to 'Uncommitted Candidate' to add 62x160 to our TN3270 support in the future, but not TN3270E.

    There are two requests in this RFE. Adding 62x160 support and enabling TN3270E support with 62x160 support. What we will be able to do is add the work item to include 62x160 support in the current TN3270 to our development plans, but not in TN3270'E.'
