This portal is to open public enhancement requests against IBM Z Software products. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

Here is an additional option to consider. If you want to direct the logins, in the APPLDEF, you can specify the real name in VTAM (for example, APPL1, APPL2, etc) and VTAM will skip going to
CF/WLM and go directly to the target.
This is not an enhancement that fits with the development plans for CL/SuperSession. The recommendation to achieve what is requested in this enhancement is the following:
Define APPLDEFs to point to a GR application name. When a session is requested, VTAM will ask CF/WLM if the target is a GR, and if so, then upon the
recommendation of CF/WLM (which target is the healthiest) VTAM will then send the logon request to that target using the NQN. We do not recommend directing logons based on fully qualified network names (NQNs).
Thank you for the RFE submission. The RFE information will be provided to development for review.
