UNSTRING into Array

UNSTRING should be able to take an internal table (“an array”) as receiving target, with TALLYING IN [tally] giving you the number of strings put into the array, so that you could do a PERFORM VARYING [ix] FROM 1 BY 1 UNTIL [ix] > [tally] something. Optionally you could have an corresponding COUNT IN-array.

    Hi, thank you for submitting this idea.

    We have evaluated it and we think this can be achieved with functionality that currently exists. Below is an example. As a result, this idea is being rejected.
