CTG must provide support for Muli-Factor Authentication (MFA)

In order to achieve wide-spread adoption of MFA in our mainframe environment, CTG must support MFA. The vast majority of our end-user community uses CTG to perform their day-to-day work. Without CTG support for MFA, MFA adoption will only be available to a small percentage of mainframe users. We are leveraging our existing RSA infrastructure (AZFSIDP1 factor) to provide 2FA. Once an ID authenticated to a sysplex, we're using CL/SuperSession as a single sign-on solution with passtickets (AZFPTKT1 factor) for 3270 users. Out of Band (OOB) authentication may be an option for a temporary work-around to the CTG problem, but it's not a long term solution for us because it changes the end-user experience and our Security team has set the direction of doing away with mainframe passwords altogether. All persons authenticating to the mainframe must be 2FA in the future.
