CRLF insertions occur at undesirable locations

A "Line Feed" control character insertion at offset 132 is occurring on printed output from TXSeries with CTG print deamon. TXSeries development team has identified the insertion is not a result from TXSeries. The insertion is a result from the CTG print deamon.

Output from TXSeries can well exceed 132 bytes when Printer Control Language (PCL) is embedded in the output data stream from CICS to an Hewlett Packard printer. Our z/OS CICS TS print application works as expected when printing to like ASCII printers with serveral printer features.

We would like the option in TXSeries for Multiplatform and CTG, to suppress automatic CRLF x'0D0A' on output to specific devices as an RDO entry or dynamically.

    Greetings,
Thank you for asking. The requirement remains valid. I continue to be interested in the suppression of CRLF x'0D0A'. At the time the RFE was created I was under pressure to seek an alternate solution for a GOLIVE.

I am writing back to check if the requirement is still valid for you? This is important to check if we want to consider it for coming releases. Thanks.

For recording keeping, the previous attributes were:
