Support parallel builds of sources with the same fileBuildRank

The language task sequentially builds al the sources by iterating over the files in SOURCE_LIST.

https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/adffz/dbb/3.0.x?topic=index-task-language

Actions

  • Creates a language build list from the SOURCE_LIST by using the sources: file glob patterns.
  • Creates or validates the datasets needed for the language configuration to execute.
  • Iterates through the language build list by executing the defined steps for each file in the list.

We would like to see an option to parallize the 3th step, so that in case of a large SOURCE_LIST the build steps can be run in parallel.

The option should provide a way to set a maximum number of parallel tasks to use for the build.

The option should keep in mind that sources might have a different fileBuildRank.
