Workspace Debug for z/OS

Debug Tool. Access to set monitoring of PL/I local declared variables from outer scope.

Debug Tool. Access to PL/I local declared variables from outer scope.

As PL/I works with local declared variables, it is not possible in Debug Tool to work with local variables until the point in processing where local variables actually are addressed.
Thus it is not possible, when stopped in e.g. main entry point as the actual scope, to set and watch local declared variables in Debug Tools monitoring view.
It would be an much appreciated enhancement to gain access from outer scope to local declared variables in debug sessions, in order to setup monitoring properly.
I guess that monitoring could be set as for deferred breakpoint in a fetch module.

Thank you for submitting this RFE. Unfortunately, this enhancement is not within our 2 year strategic roadmap.
