Can't set breakpoints with DT for vendor application CICS ASSEMBLER with unspecified PPT

Hogan CFT delivers banking software that runs in various environments including batch/cics without recompiling. As a result, it does not include CICS translator stub (e.g. DFHYA700). CICS determined module language as 'undetermined' , DT contains code to not get active for those modules .
DT should check if this is an assembler module and if yes activate DT for it . The check could be governed by a special setting in EQAOPTS module so that it will only be active for customer who used HOGAN in CICS.

We were not able to determine a way to use the URM (User replaceable module) to handle this scenario.

    Product family - Development Tooling
Product - IBM Debug for z/OS
    Component - z/OS Debugger

For recording keeping, the previous attributes were:

There is support in DTCN for URM (User replaceble module) that handles this scenario.

IBM DEBUG TOOL requires that a cics program's PPT contains a LANGUAGE= value like= ASM,COBOL,PLI, etc If the cics PPT still has LANGUAGE=UNSPECIFIED, IBM DEBUG will NOT permit the debugging of the program. Hogan programs are not processed by the cics translator (to permit the same loadmodule to be used in batch in addition to cics), so they do not get a DFHYA700 or DFHYC700 csect STUB. Hence, the cics PPT for Hogan assembler programs still have a LANGUAGE=UNSPECIFIED. Then, IBM debug refuses to debug such a program. It's interesting to note that Hogan Cobol pgms also do NOT get processed by the cics translator, BUT cics does deduce that they are cobol programs and adds the LANGUAGE=COBOL value to the cics PPT entry.
