Debug: Rewind / History of performs before a breakpoint/abend (COBOL)

Hello IBM,

we use the IBM Debug plug-in in IDz in connection with the DBGMGR and COBOL.

We miss a function, which we currently use in Compuware Xpediter (simply called "monitor" there):

If you activate "monitor" or "monitor COBOL", Xpediter stores all executed PERFORM-statements and CALLs within your session (or program).

This helps especially when you run thru a program (without single stepping) and then run into either an abend-handler or a breakpoint within a section or paragraph that is called from lots of different places.

Without such a function you've got no clue, which sections/paragraphs have been performed before and need to step thru the whole program which takes a lot of time.

The previous comment is correct. This feature request is covered by PLAYBACK, which is currently available via remote in the Eclipse client as well as 3270.
The documentation can be found here: https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/debug-for-zos/15.0?topic=application-using-playback-toolbar
I will mark this RFE as delivered and please open a new one if there are changes or enhancements to the PLAYBACK support in eclipse.

maybe the PLAYBACK captures all needed information for what we need (but currently only in 3270):

We'd appreciate this function in Eclipse maybe with a graphical display of the executed performs etc...
