Show previous line of code when the AT CHANGE or watch breakpoint is encountered

When a watch breakpoint or AT CHANGE breakpoint is triggered, the debugger depicts the next statement in a program. Customers have asked to show the previous statement in this scenario. Statements may not be contiguous. For example, consider a watch breakpoint on the field NUM-TRANFILE-RECS. The debugger will determine the storage changed in this paragraph, but the debugger will stop after the call to 700-READ-TRAN-FILE, somewhere else in the program.
700-READ-TRAN-FILE.
READ TRANSACTION-FILE
AT END MOVE 'Y' TO WS-TRAN-FILE-EOF .
EVALUATE WS-TRANFILE-STATUS
WHEN '00'
COMPUTE NUM-TRANFILE-RECS = NUM-TRANFILE-RECS + 1
WHEN '10'
MOVE 'Y' TO WS-TRAN-FILE-EOF
WHEN OTHER
MOVE 'Error on tran file read. Code:'
TO ERR-MSG-DATA1
MOVE WS-CUSTFILE-STATUS TO ERR-MSG-DATA2
PERFORM 820-REPORT-BAD-TRAN
MOVE 'Y' TO WS-TRAN-FILE-EOF
END-EVALUATE .

Showing the previous statement could be something which is always shown, or shown when the watch or AT CHANGE break point is encountered. This could also be implemented by automatically invoking playback with a watch or AT CHANGE breakpoint, and the user could use playback to step backwards after the AT CHANGE or watch breakpoint.

Thank you for taking the time to suggest an enhancement to our product. Many of our product enhancements result from feedback from our customers, so your input is always very important to us. Your request for enhancement is not currently aligned with our product strategy and vision and we have no plans to address your request in the near future. In this case, we recommend that users enable playback in conjunction with the AT CHANGE breakpoint and use the step back function. Since there is a performance cost associated with the playback feature, enabling it without explicit user consent is unacceptable. Again, thank you for your suggestion and continued support.
