what we need is to get compiler option and precompiler options from the load module , create a property group under the cover and assign it to the temp dataset where the debugger places the source / sysdebug file so that visual debug can use this info for a successful parse .

    This features is now available in version 16.0.0 of IBM Developer for z/OS and IBM Developer for z/OS Enterprise Edition.
    There will be dialog and option to link debug session to property group.
