IDZ IMS property group PL/I settings generate JCL GO step debug options

For programs which include IMS (batch or transaction) while developers generating JCL for GO and DEBUG step and IMS checkbox within PL/I properties of IDZ Property Group is enabled, GO step with DEBUG parameters is not generated. Instead, customer use Menu Manager in which they define an action for load modules which calls the REXX or CLIST passing the PDS and Member name given to the action from menu manager variables. Customer request for enhancement which would include automatic adding of GO step with DEBUG options when IMS checkbox is enabled in a same was as it is when DB2 checkbox is enabled.

    Thank you for taking the time to suggest an enhancement to our product. Many of our product enhancements result from feedback from our customers, so your input is always very important to us. We feel this is a valid requirement but delivery within the two year window is not likely. Please resubmit in 12-18 months for reconsideration if still valid. Again, thank you for your suggestion and continued support.
